Q: I just got a 2010 ford f150 a few months ago. Could I save money on the note if i traded it in for a used truc?
The monthly payment is 556. would it be a good idea to trade it in and get a used truck that can be paid off faster and gets bettter gas mileage? mine now gets 15mpg. I am trying to think of ways to save money. would that wreck my credit?
A: Ok you owe big money on the 2010 truck.
What happens to all that money you owe if you trade it in??
It goes into the loan on the replacement truck you buy. Result- your payments stay same or go up.
Only thing you can do is sell it yourself and hope you get enough money to pay off the loan. Then go buy a less expensive truck.
Q: Whats the gas mileage & cost for a 2010 Ford F150 supercrew cab?
2010 FORD F150 SUPERCREW CAB
4-door XL Pickup -- V8, 16V, 4.6 Liter 2WD (Auto) 5 1/2 ft
A: I suppose that depend on what gas prices are and would be hard to judge right now, however, you can check fueleconomy.gov to get the mileage
Q: The front bumber of a 2010 Ford F150 has 2 upside down U hooks coming off just below the bumper. What r they 4?
I would assume to attach a tow cable if needed
A: They are tow hooks. If your car was getting towed that's where they would hook to. They are welded to the vehicles frame. Most newer vehicles will have them, they are handy when the car has to be chained down or towed. Even for putting a kayak or canoe on those make for an excellent tie down point.
Q: Is Ford still going to put a diesel in the F150 for 2010?
I have read for years the 4.4 liter is going to be used but lately I have not heard much. I need to trade in my 05 and would wait to buy one.
please put the basis for your answer
A: It has been delayed right now since diesel is about the same price as gas and with the new eco-boost coming out that has more power and a lot better MPG then a diesel. Rumor has it the eco boost will make its way into the F-150. Time will tell
Q: Is Ford still planning on releasing a diesel f150 in 2010?
I know they announced it about a year ago, but i hear mixed reviews whether or not it will still be coming out!
A: i don't think so
Q: 2010 f150 esof problem?
I've just bought my new 2010 ford f150 with electronic shift on the fly.
When I try to engage 4wd hi,it has weired noise come from under the cab and grinding sound from the wheel. even after the use of 4wd hi, switch out to 2wd, the grinding sound is still there.this is my first half ton truck, please help!! I used to have a escape with all wheel drive. but I thoug awd is not as good as a true 4wd when got stuck in snow.please help!
A: As another fellow said, be sure you are operating it correctly. If operating correctly, and veh still makes grinding noise, make appointment with dealer to have checked. The grinding sound is not normal, it makes this sound when front axle is trying to engage the front wheels, or not engaging/disengaging fully. The cause can be a few different things, from faulty solenoid to vacuum leak. Fixing the problem should be easy, finding the true cause and then ordering parts may take a little time, reasonably 2 days. so expect to make arrangements for something else to drive. The dealer should be able to help you with this. Hope this answer helps.
Q: I just bought a 2010 Ford F150 STX with the 3V 4.6L, what should i do to make it faster, or is already fast?
I got to work with what i got.It is a 2010 F150 STX with Several packages. XLT Decor, all power, Premium Sound, and it is the Super-cab style-side. it has 292HP and i want it to be fast. I have not seen any videos and i have not had the opportunity to race any newer truck. From what i have heard was that the truck is fast, from some other 010 owners, they said that they have raced cars and trucks and they did good only with a intake and exhaust. what should i do, or should i not worry?
Thanks,
Jericho
A: Add the following:
Flowmaster Exhaust system - dual
Cold Air Intake or better add a ram air hood and cold air intake kit
Underdrive pulleys
More expensive items you can do are
Add a supercharger
Change out the rear end gears
Q: Hi, Will Ford be coming out with the 2010 Harley Davidson F150 this fall?

A: Get a Vette.
Q: I live in Vancouver Lower Mainland. I want to buy a new 2010 f150 truck. Should i buy 4x2 or 4x4?
A: It still depends what you want to use the truck for. 4x4 is very useful in off road or low traction situations. I would normally say that 4x4 should be the standard choice because there will most likely be a situation where you would like to have it. With that said you can get away with 4x2 living in Vancouver if you are doing mostly city driving and you aren't an outdoorsy type (camping, 4x4ing and such). The 4x2 are also a bit cheaper on fuel being that they weigh less and they are a lot cheaper in price.
What the person said about snow is only partially true, a 4x2 with snow tires will out maneuver a 4x4 without! Also as you know Lower Mainland only gets about 2-5 days of snow per year.
PS I grew up in the Lower Mainland
