Q: How to install an MTX Thunderform 2008 F150 SuperCrew?
I recently purchased a new Pioneer head unit, and to match the system, I went with an MTX Thunderform Amplified Enclosure. Although I have not recieved the sub yet, I have a question pertaining to wiring. My HU has preamp outs on the back of the unit, is this all I need to install my subs, or do I have to splice into the rear speaker wiring? It seems to simple to be able to hookup a set of RCA plugs and a power and ground lead and be done. I hope this is the case, however, I have never owned a subwoofer. Any help or links to sites that would help me out is greatly appreciated.
A: The RCA leads on the back of the deck are what you use. They will go directly into the amp for your sub. Make sure when you route the wires for the amp, to have the shortest Ground Cable as possible with the best connection you can make.
When you have everything you should get the install sheets but this should do.......
Q: Thinking about switching from 2001 F150 supercrew to 2008 Nissan Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X, anyone have one?
and how do you like it? I want one with all the options including navigation system.....What price should I expect to pay? After market goodies?
A: Titan's off-road credentials include an 11.5" minimum running ground clearance, with up to 28.3° angle of approach and up to 27.8° angle of departure.
Pro-4X models feature lower final gear ratio for improved off-road control.

Q: 2008 f-150 supercrew xlt employee price ?
Can anyone tell me what the plan A price on a 2008 f150 supercrew xlt is?
Thanks!
A: Tell the salesman that you are a "X" plan buyer and ask to see the invoice on the truck. They will show you the paper and it will have the "A" and the "X" plan price on it. You will also still be eligible for the other discount being offered to the general public.
Good luck with it.
Q: Do I need a high output alternator?
I have a 2008 ford f150 supercrew. I have an alpine pdx 1.600 powering a jl tw5, a set of 5.25 inch alpine type x reference componets and type r speakers being powered by a pioneer prs-d4200f. Head unit is a pioneer deh-p710bt. All 4 gauge wiring. if not a high output alternator, any other electrical upgrades?
A: Well, are you having problems with the lights dimming or the battery not charging? If so, start with a capacitor, probably 1.5 farads or higher.
If that doesn't eliminate any problems you're having, then you may need a high output alternator. That's not really something you want to start with, though, because they are very expensive compared to a capacitor.
Q: which amplifier will sound better with my 12'' kenwood subs?
which Amplifier will sound better with the KENWOOD KFC-W3011 12" with 1200 Watts (each sub) the KENWOOD KAC-7204 2-CHANNEL AMP 1000W or with the BOSS CHAOS CH1200M 1200w 2channel amp.please help with which amp will the subs give me alot of bass and a voice that can be heard clearly.how can i wire them up for it can be heard the best bass the subs are for a sub box that goes under the rear seat of a f150 2008 supercrew this is the sub http://supercrewsound.com/commerce/product.jsp?prodId=10&catId=58 but the holes are for 12'' and the piece of wood that divides the subs has been removed
A: i would go with the kenwood amp because i personally think boss is crap. I have the same kenwood subs, but I have them running of a
Kenwood 9104D monoblock amp. It pushes 900 watts rms and they hit hard from a block away.

Q: about a good sound system that has alot of bass and can be heard clearly?
ok i have i wanted to get a sound system for my truck but i don't know which subs and amp i should get i want to get alot of bass and that it can be heard clearly my truck is a 2008 ford f150 supercrew the sub box that goes under the rear seat..my budget on the subs is up to $300 and on the amp it is up to $350..please tell help me to get a good sound system
A: Kicker and Rockford fosgate make shallow subs...they sound as good as "normal" subs but require less air space.
The 10" Rockford p3s are nice and not too expensive.
As for an amp I would recommend the JL audio 500/1 They go on Ebay for around 350$ new.
The Rockford fosgate website shows you how to wire the sub(s) so you don't burn up the amp (no less than 1.5 ohms but no more than 4 ohms for the jl 500/1 to get its full potential)

Q: what is the best way to strap my little car on my trailer?
I have a 2005 F150 supercrew 4x4 with a 5.4 v8. I am looking for suggestions on the best way to haul my car with it. My car is a 2008 scion tc. I have a 2005 carson utility trailer. It is 16 ft long with a capacity of 7000lbs. Brakes and all that are good on the truck and trailer. the problem is that I have 12in high sides and the car sits so low that straping it just don't look right. I am used to hauling more along the bounds of 40 tons but this just aint sitting right. Oh by the way I have 4 10,000lbs straps to bind it with. Any thoughs would be helpful. Thanks. Oh I am going from Ca to Ky. 2300 miles.
A: The best way to do it is use have axle straps. If you don't have them then strap the car from the frame at the right rear to the left rear of the trailer. Then with another strap go from the left rear of the car to the right rear of the trailer. Making a "X" using the straps. Do the same with the front and you will be fine. I tow many cars some lighter and some heavier then the TC. But do as I say and you will be fine.
