Q: 2004-2008 F150 Lariat How do i know it has the audiophile stereo installed.?
I am looking too buy a used 2004-2008 F150 lariat, I am buying it through a local auction. Can anyone tell me how you know if this truck has the Audiophile sound system with subwoofer, I know the subwoofer is below the rear seats? However if the stereo says CD6/MP3 does that mean it has the upgraded Audiophile speakers.
A: no not always.. cd6 was a option with the audiophile being a upgrade from there.. only real way is to look for the sub under the seat
Q: Do I need to replace the entire mirror or just the glass on a 2008 Ford F150?
I have a 2008 Ford F150 with a passenger mirror that has broken glass. Do I need to replace the entire mirror plastics and housing or can I just replace the glass in this model? I have been told both scenarios so am unsure and both products are for sale online.
The model is power mirrors but without the turn signals in the mirror. If that helps.

Q: 2008 For F150 compared to 2005 model?
Besides being "new" are there any particular advantages or disadvantages to the 2008 F150 supercrew short bed?
A: The 2008 Ford F150 is bigger and better in many ways, however, the 2005 Ford F150 suffers in reliability and braking, meaning, the car won't last as long as the new one, and the braking distances are longer than your average truck. Other than that, The 2005 model isn't that bad.
Q: Do you think a 2008 F150 is as good as a 2008 Silverado?
I know that the Silverado won some kind of award, but who

I seen a YouTube video of someone replacing a power mirror on on a
F-250 Super Duty. Is the procedure the same? And I was just wondering what the average price is for one of these mirrors are at a salvage yard. (It's not a power folding mirror) Please don't even tell me what a dealership would charge. I don't want to have a stroke or a heart attack *lol*
A: pull off speaker grill, remove speaker, remove 2 lower plastic bushing in door for speaker, remove small panel for inside door handle,pull door handle assembly outward and leave hanging, remove the 2 screws, remove power window panel, remove door panel screws at bottom, lift panel upwards to remove from door, then you get to bolts for mirrow
Q: 2008 Ford F150, installed a cold air intake & performance muffler. Why does it seem like my Mpg decreased?
I knew most would say heavier foot, but didn't have room in my question to say DRIVING HABITS HAVE not changed. Supposedly the performance muffler is suppose to help by reducing back pressure on engine.

More Fuel=Less MPG
Better sound/feel driving=Driver faster
Start driving slower than you did. You would be supprised how easily it will jump back and maybe get better. The more horses you have without changing the air/fuel ratio too much the better economy you should get, theory wise. Of course it doesnt always work out that way. Thats a big beefy v8 there and it loves to breath. When you added that the decrease in mpg is just a way of it to say thank you, along with the mean tone and the more fun driving.
Q: Does the 2008 Ford F150 FX2 package come with running boards?
Just wondering, because there are some dealers here in my city that have fx2's with no running boards. Another dealer mentioned something about how some dealers remove them, then recharge you later to add them.
Any weight to this claim?
A: In 2008, the Ford F-150 FX2 package is an option on the XLT trim level. It includes FX2 sport floor mats, power heated turn signal mirrors, fog lamps, key less entry keypad, and a power driver's seat. It could be ordered with or without running boards - they were not included. I won't comment on the misdemeanor slander committed by the false felony accusations.

it should be on as long as your not towing.

Q: Quick question for you guys, can I use a stereo/navigation system from a 2004-2008 F150 into my 97 F150?
It's 1997 Ford F150 EXT. I want to switch radio with something better that would have a CD changer, and GPS navigation.
If not, what would you advise me to put, something affordable...
A: The size and mounting styles between the two radios are much different, so you'll have a hard time making it fit. Also, you'll have to adapt the connector at the back of the radio, because the '97 plug won't fit the '04+ radio. Once that's done, you should be able to power it up; but you still probably won't get the navigation to work, because the '97 truck doesn't have a GPS antenna, or a speed sense wire in the factory plug. You can probably make the CD and radio work in the older vehicle, though.
