Q: making a 2005 f150 sub box supercrew?
ok i have to make a project for school in my wood shop class and i was thinking about making a sub box for my f150 2005 supercrew it will be going under the seat..but i don't know if it will be a good one, my teacher will be helping so he knows what he is doing so is it possible to make it.if it is where can i get the measurements for it i want it to be for 2 12's and if it can be it a little bit bigger for the airspace..thanks for the help

Q: about vibration on f150 2005 supercrew 2wd from 55mph to 60mph?
ok my truck vibrates when i am driving in the middle of 55 to 60 mph and if i am going lets say about 58 and it is vibrating and i let go of the gas and it stops vibrating, but i have original wheels they look toasted could it be that they need alignment cause i just boughts the truck 1 month ago

A: It might be the alignment, or it might be one or more wheel is out of balance. If you get a side-to-side vibration in the wheel, that's more a symptom of alignment, I think. But if it's just the wheels, check the alignment. Either way - a good wheel and suspension shop can diagnose it for you and take care of it without you having to spend money on repairs you don't need. If you don't know of a good wheel shop in your area, go to a parts store and ask them. They should know who does good work at a fair price in the area.

Q: 295/45/20 on a lowered f150 2005 king ranch supercrew?
ok i have a 2005 f150 king ranch supercrew and the wheels are the stock 20'' oem wheels the ones that come from factory and my tires are worn out and i wanted to put the 295/45/20 on all 4 wheels the only question was that if they will rub on front or on the back the truck is lowered 2.5 in front and 4.5 in the back..the tires will fit perfect on the rims its just that question i had.

ok i have a 2005 f150 5.4 3v supercrew but i wanted to add a better throttle body but i dont know which one to put would a 75mm be perfect if not which one will give me better performance it is bone stock no air intake.but i was wondering if it matters if i put a throttle body before i install the air intake if yes wat will the problems be

A: if you are going to get into a job like that you would be better off converting to a 4 barrel carb.

ok i have two 10'' kicker cvr 800 watts each and 100-800 rms they are installed on the box that goes under the seat my truck is a ford f150 2005 supercrew and i wanted to know if i install a kicker amp 750.1 will it sound good i want it to sound with alot of bass

A: that would do very well after looking at the amp and speakers they seem perfect , just make sure you have the sub's wired down to a final ohm load of 2 . this way your getting your moneys worth, good luck

Q: Why wont my truck start after filling up on gas?
f I go and fill up my truck with gas the following happens. I turn off the ignition, fill up with gas, then try to start up. The truck wont start unless give it gas. Its a 2005 Ford F150 Supercrew FX4.

ok i have 2 JL Audio 12W3v3-4 12'' 4-ohm of Peak: 1000 watts RMS: 500 watts and i dont know what kind of amp i need.....wat would you guys recomend me to buy the custom made sub box or can i make it myself for it can have more space its for a ford f150 2005 supercrew

A: i was told that either a JL Audio 250/1 would run them very well or a JL 500/1 is good. on the JL site it shows optimum at 300 watts. and with the box issue a custom made box can make a world of difference to the sound quality and the loudness of the subs.

Q: 2005 FORD F-150 PUT ON AFTER MARKET RIMS?
I put on some after market 22inch rims on my 05 f150 supercrew and had them balanced at two shops and wheel alignment but when i get between 55mph and 70 mph it shakes bad, any suggestions on how to make it smooth throughout or what to change, the original rims and tires were 255/70r17 and the new ones are 305/40r22 but its smooth sailing below 55mph and after 70mph no shake at all, but just in that target zone, thanks in advance!

A: on thing you might want to check is driveshaft angle, also check u-joints may have one going out, did you reprogramm cluster for bigger tires is not the speed is reading wrong on the cluster...!

hey i am trying to know if my f150 2003 5.4 2x4 supercrew will beat a mustang gt my truck has a max hypertech,k&n air intake,borla headers,borla exhaust,trhottle body spacer,trottle body 75mm,msd ignition coils,stage 2 comp cams,ford racing timing chain,mac pulleys,and ford racing 42 lb injectors.if it does what other cars will i beat...if i don't beat a 2005 corvette will he leave me behind by alot it also has the 3.73's in the rear and the shift kit medium

A: guy above me is either retarded or weird. amps dont have "rms" ratings, but otherwise what he said will work. Your best bet is to buy a 1000-1200 watt amp. As for the box since it is going to be in a truck, make sure its ported and not sealed.
